Terms of use
ndt.network is run by NDT LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms and to the community rules. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
1. Accounts
- Anyone working in or interested in nondestructive testing may join. You must be at least 18.
- An account needs an email address; you sign in with a code we email you, or with a password if you set one. Whoever can read that mailbox can sign in, so keep it and any password to yourself.
- You choose a display name. You don't have to use your real name, but you may not pretend to be another person or company.
- You can close your account at any time on your account page. The Privacy Policy says what happens to your posts.
2. What you post
- You are responsible for what you post. You keep ownership of it, and you give NDT LLC a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, show, copy and format it on and for the site, for as long as it stays there and in ordinary backups.
- You promise you have the right to post it. That includes not pasting copyrighted standards, books or course material beyond a short quote, and not posting anything confidential to a client or employer, or controlled by export rules (such as ITAR or EAR technical data) or marked as controlled unclassified information.
- We may hold, edit for format, hide or remove anything, and pause or close any account, with or without notice. We aren't obliged to review anything, and we don't guarantee we'll catch every problem.
3. Advice on the forum is not professional direction
Posts are members' own opinions. Nothing on this site is engineering, Level III, radiation-safety, legal or medical advice from NDT LLC, and no post replaces your written practice, your procedure, your Radiation Safety Officer, your license conditions, the current edition of your governing document, or the regulator. Don't rely on a forum post for an acceptance decision, a certification decision or anything affecting someone's safety.
Profiles and listings state what members and companies say about themselves. "Verified" on a company means only that a moderator confirmed the listing is connected with that company; it says nothing about the quality of its work or its accreditations. We don't check qualifications.
4. Jobs
- Jobs are posted by employers and recruiters, not by us. We aren't an employer, an employment agency or a party to any hiring. Applicants deal with the employer directly.
- A poster must have a real, open job and the authority to advertise it, must follow employment, equal-opportunity and pay-disclosure law where the work is, and may not charge applicants anything.
- We can't vouch for any job. Never send money or sensitive documents to get one, and report anything that looks wrong.
5. Company listings and advertising
- Add only a company you work for or represent, and keep its details true. Claims about accreditations and approvals must be accurate and current.
- Paid placements are marked Sponsored. Paying doesn't change the rules: we may refuse or remove any listing or advertisement.
- Third-party names, standards and marks belong to their owners. Their appearance here doesn't mean they're connected with or endorse this site.
6. Paid plans
- Paid job posts and company plans are sold by NDT LLC through Stripe, at the prices shown when you buy. Prices are in US dollars. [OWNER: confirm prices in lib/pricing.ts: Standard job $99, Featured job $199, Featured listing $49 a month, Premier listing $149 a month.] [OWNER: decide on sales tax on digital advertising.]
- A paid job's run starts when it goes live, which may be after a moderator has read it.
- A company plan renews every month at the price you agreed to until you cancel. You can cancel at any time on your listing's Manage page; the plan then stays on until the end of the paid month and doesn't renew. We'll tell you before any price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
- Refunds are covered by the Refund policy.
7. Copyright complaints
If you believe something here infringes your copyright, email contact@ndt.llc with the page, the work, your contact details, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you're authorized to act. We remove repeat infringers.
8. Fair use of the site
Don't send spam, scrape members' details, run automated accounts, probe or overload the site, or get around a moderator's decision or a ban with another account.
9. No warranty; limits on liability
The site is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, NDT LLC disclaims all warranties and isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, for what members or companies post or do, or for any loss from relying on content here. Our total liability for anything to do with the site is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and $100. You'll cover our reasonable costs if a claim against us arises from what you posted.
10. Changes
We may change the site or these terms. We'll post changes here with a new date.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.
